Fitzroy North House is a contemporary reinterpretation of a classic double-storey terrace in the heart of Fitzroy. The project involved the careful restoration of the original heritage structure, preserving its historic character, while introducing a bold new rear extension. The addition creates a light-filled, open-plan living zone at the ground level, seamlessly connecting old and new. A sculptural contemporary staircase leads to the upper floor, which accommodates refurbished original bedrooms and culminates in a striking new rooftop terrace — offering elevated views and a unique outdoor retreat.
