Cremorne Laneway House is a contemporary extension to an original worker’s terrace cottage, located in the heart of Cremorne.
Capitalising on its laneway frontage, the project reorients the home, introducing a new public face articulated through contemporary materials and sculptural forms.
Conceived as an 'upside down' house, the design places private bedrooms at ground level—concealed from the laneway—while the upper level opens up to a light-filled, open-plan living, kitchen, and dining zone. Elevated above the streetscape, this space enjoys panoramic views toward the city skyline.
